Julian Fisher (aka Jules) is the author of Think Like A Spy: Master the Nine Secret Skills of Influence and Leadership (Hachette, January 2026).  A former British government official operating overseas, Julian now works as a private intelligence practitioner.  He is a technical advisor for productions in the espionage genre, including Apple TV+’s smash-hit Slow Horses.  In 2017, Julian was the lead-trainer on Channel 4’s TV series Spies.

Julian is an experienced public speaker, offering motivational talks and insights into international affairs and intelligence matters.  He is available for conferences, workshops, team-building events and after-dinner talks. An experienced trainer and effective mentor, he leads regular masterclasses [Note: link bold text to the new Masterclass page] in the leadership field.

Julian is committed to supporting social mobility and is happy to give his time gratis for talks to disadvantaged young people, at schools, colleges, community centres and youth detention facilities.
